Dot NAME Domain Name Registrations

Introduced in 2001, the .NAME generic extension is the only one intended for personal websites only. These domain names can include personal or fictional names, aliases and/or other designations people are famous by. At the beginning, just third-level registrations were allowed, so if you wished to book john.doe.name, you had to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was liberalized and 2nd-level registrations were also permitted. Existing third-level domain names remained active.

Through our firm, you can order your dot NAME domain for an interval between one and ten years. You will have the chance to change the WHOIS contacts, to park your domain, to set up Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an existing domain to our firm if you take its EPP transfer authorization key from the present domain provider and we will renew it when the transfer has been completed. There are no specific prerequisites on who can reserve a .NAME domain, but in order to preserve the objective behind its establishment alive, the dot NAME Registry organization may verify who the owner is and if there is no link between the owner and the actual domain name, the registration may be challenged.

The dot NAME top-level domain is among the extensions that support internationalized domains, so we can also register a domain in any language at no added cost. In this way, your dot NAME domain will be recognized in your country or region with the correct spelling in your native language.
